I just got a 2 wrangle b/c weltmeister and it has a amoun postage stamp on the back 02/03439. does anyone sleep with what it typify

Are the first two digits the last two digits of the year it was made? I ever assumed that just never had any official proof.

Also my Weltmeister 512 was the lonesome one that had it. My 86W has no markings like that.

You could email Weltmeister, or try posting along the official Weltmeister Meeting place. Sometimes going the social media itinerary is faster than emailing, at least that's been my experience with identifying the serial numbers happening guitars. (Although some companies like Hohner are quite remind with their responses regarding successive numbers.)

I will go steady if the numbers on my shop instruments coordinate with your twelvemonth theory. I can determine from weltmeister  simply the manager that speaks english has been rather ill, so reaction has been slow.

My 86W has No markings like that.

Mine has. 06/00094. Information technology goes well with the theory, that 06 denotes the year. The number is located on the gage of the treble side, where it joins the holler.

I tush check again. That's where the marking was on my 512 but when I checked my 86W this morning I didn't see anything.
